Intimate Weddings
The beaches of St. John in the US Virgin Islands, make a gorgeous backdrop for couples who want a small intimate wedding. Let us help you plan that special day. From the marriage license and cake to the bouquet and the minister, Leslie and Charles specialize in making those important details happen.

 

 Our taxi driver, Thomas, meets you at the St. Thomas airport and will take you to the territorial court to pick-up your marriage license before delivering you to Phaedrus.  St. John has the best beaches for beautiful sunset weddings or, if you prefer, you can be married on the bow of Phaedrus.  For unique non-denominational weddings, we have used Anne Marie Porter or Bob Davis.  Both live on St. John and perform many weddings at villas and resorts as well as beaches. Bob is also a photographer.

Charles and Leslie work hard at finding those quiet coves and secluded beaches. Champagne sunsets and candlelit dinners are Phaedrus' specialty. And not just honeymoons - what a great way to celebrate an anniversary.

Marrying in the USVI?
It's very easy. First you call the Territorial Court at 340-774-6680 and request a marriage application. Allow for mailing time and one month for processing. They will need to know when you will be coming to the islands and when you will be getting married. If you have been divorced you will need to submit a certified copy of your divorce decree with your application. The fees include a $50 application fee and a $50 license fee. The court only accepts cashier's checks or money orders made payable to The Territorial Court of the United States Virgin Islands. You pick up your license upon arriving in St. Thomas.
