Yacht
Phaedrus is perfect for the ultimate pleasure trip for any couple.
A spacious saloon with a large teak dining table makes formal
dinners elegant. Meals served aboard are prepared from a varied
menu to your particular taste by your personal chef. |
| The
very comfortable shaded cockpit and her flush deck gives guests
room to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Caribbean. While
guests are welcome to take the helm or help trim sails, they
may also just sit back and enjoy the ride. |

We
completely refit Phaedrus in 2003. The guest cabin has
been completely redecorated. The settee has new upholstery,
the bed has a new Italian cotton bed cover with new 300 thread-count
sheets. Also
new are our Egyptian cotton towels, sisal rugs, art and floral
arrangements. There is now more storage space in the guest
cabin which will help with stowing extra bags, shoes, handbags,
etc.
The
mast was taken out and completely re-rigged. It was painted,
new running rigging, new electrical wire, lights, wind indicator
and antennas installed. We also purchased a new main sail. The hull, decks, and cockpit are bright and shiny with new gelcoat.
The
salon has new upholstery and the whole boat has been completely
re-varnished, inside and out.
We
purchased a Furuno radar and GPS, and a new cockpit VHF and a
long range HF radio. A transom mast was installed for all
the new antennas and a more powerful cell phone antenna. For
the extra long down island passages we added a computerized chart
and navigation system. We also have a new stereo system
with a 10 CD changer and an iPod connection.
In
the cockpit we have new cushions. This year we added back
cushions. The bimini is new and we made rain shades for
those occasional rainy days.
To
add to the safety features already on board, i.e. USCG certified
life jackets and fire extinguishers, we have added a Man Overboard
Lifesling and a GPS fixed EPIRB.
